I've always wanted to do a model of a bike, and went looking for inspiration on the internet. Looking at what other artists have done I came to the conclusion that everyone is building either the latest and fastest or something that comes from space.

The thought of my dad's bike came to mind, me as a little boy always wanting to ride it, and so my search for inspiration ended.

It was a Yamaha XT 500.
